The Iron Skillet Farmhouse Inn was located at Banner Elk, North Carolina

It was a 1940’s restored  farmhouse bed and breakfast situated  on  3 acres across  from the  Blueberry  Farm  in Banner Elk, North Carolina.  Seen  in the movie "Where  the  Lilies  Bloom,"   the  house  was a  country   inn  having thoughtfully  adorned rooms  full  of country charm  and simple pleasures.  From the rocking chair front porch to the old cisterns nestled under the spreading oak tree, you could experience the scenic views of Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain  along  with local Fraser fir Christmas tree farms.

Turn-of-the-century antiques and collectibles, and wormy chestnut and hickory plank flooring  graced  the  Iron  Skillet  Farmhouse  Inn  of  Banner  Elk  to  add  a  warmth contagious to all.

Guests could wake   up to  the aroma of  freshly  brewed  coffee  and  sitting  down to a hearty  country  breakfast.  Spend  the  day  touring  the  towns  of  Banner Elk, Boone, Beech Mtn., and  Blowing Rock,  North Carolina  along  with  Valle Crucis.  Grandfather Mountain, The  Blue Ridge  Parkway, and Linville Gorge are popular destinations to visit.
